What is the opportunity?

As Senior Legal Technology & AI Program Manager, you will be a highly motivated self-starter excited to support and grow with our fast-paced Legal Team here at Omnissa. The Omnissa Legal Team is a close-knit group of colleagues who each wear different hats and work well both independently and collaboratively as a group. In addition to working closely with other members of the Omnissa Legal Team, this role will partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across the Omnissa business to ensure projects are running smoothly. And you will bridge people, processes, and technology together to ensure operational efficiency across the department, all while maintaining focus on achieving strategic business goals that drive Omnissa’s collective success.

This role reports to our Director of Global Legal Operations. The Omnissa Legal Team values curiosity, exploration, and continuous learning. As part of a growing, dynamic team, you will have opportunities to expand your expertise beyond your assigned focus areas and contribute to impactful projects. Our team environment promotes autonomy and collaboration, making it an ideal place for those eager to grow and make meaningful contributions.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Scale, innovate, identify efficiencies and suggest AI-powered improvements to existing legal processes to improve process automation and promote efficiency.
  • Develop detailed process documentation for various AI and technology processes for education and to drive automation.
  • Drive AI-based process automation and system integrations across legal technology platforms—connecting AI tools with existing systems to streamline data flow and reduce manual handoffs.
  • Support and facilitate various AI projects and initiatives across the Legal Department by gathering project requirements, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Help define and maintain the Legal Department’s AI vision, strategy, maturity model, and roadmap—translating strategic goals into prioritized, actionable initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Lead AI use case selection across key legal workflows—guiding initiatives from pilot through production and scale.
  • Drive CLM strategy and enhancement roadmap—partnering with IT and business stakeholders to configure, optimize, and extend the CLM platform, including optimizing AI capabilities (e.g., AI-assisted drafting, clause extraction, risk scoring) to increase contract velocity and reduce manual review burden.
  • Evaluate and manage the legal AI vendor landscape, including traditional, generative, and agentic AI tools; maintain awareness of key vendors and emerging capabilities relevant to Omnissa’s legal workflows.
  • Establish and maintain AI governance, oversight, and risk management frameworks for legal AI tools, ensuring responsible use, data integrity, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Define and track AI economics for the Legal Department, including ROI metrics, cost-benefit analyses, and value measurement frameworks that communicate impact to leadership.
  • Stay current on trends in AI and legal technology—including the rise of agentic AI for legal functions—and translate market developments into actionable recommendations for the Legal Department.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other corporate functions to align Legal AI initiatives with enterprise-wide technology strategy and data governance standards.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Extensive experience both using and building AI-driven solutions to scale the legal function
  • 8+ years of experience in project management and driving legal technology projects, with significant hands-on experience leading AI-driven initiatives and building AI solutions to address Legal Department workflows and operational challenges
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Deep familiarity with the legal AI vendor landscape, including hands-on experience with legal-specific AI tools—and the ability to evaluate emerging vendors against departmental needs
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI governance and oversight frameworks, including responsible AI principles, data privacy considerations, and risk mitigation strategies in a legal context
  • Strong understanding of core legal department workflows—including contract lifecycle management, outside counsel management, matter intake and triage, and e-billing—and how AI can streamline each
  • Strongly preferred: Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, including configuring workflows, building enhancements and modifications, and integrating AI capabilities to automate contract review, extraction, and risk assessment
  • Practical experience with generative AI and agentic AI in a legal or enterprise context, including prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and safe deployment practices
  • Ability to define and communicate AI ROI metrics and business cases to senior legal and business leadership, demonstrating measurable value from AI investments
