Benefit Audit Support - 100% Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Benefit Audit Support for a Remote position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $23.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Standard Monday-Friday day shift

Position Overview:
This role is for the upcoming peak-season hiring ramp for the BAT (Benefits Analysis & Testing) team. The roles will focus on auditing, validation, and testing of PBM-related claims and benefit coding changes. Key priorities include finding candidates with PBM and healthcare claims experience, strong analytical and Excel-based technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment. The role supports the BAT (Benefits Analysis & Testing) team during peak season by validating and testing healthcare/PBM claim coding changes and ensuring claims adjudicate correctly.

• The work is ticket-based and heavily focused on auditing/testing healthcare and PBM-related system changes.
• Candidates with PBM industry knowledge are strongly preferred because training time is significantly shorter.
• Skills emphasized the importance of speed, analytical thinking, curiosity, and efficiency in handling claim validation work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze tickets submitted by internal teams
• Execute testing suites and macros
• Run trial claims against coding changes
• Validate claim adjudication outcomes
• Compare expected vs. actual system results
• Identify coding discrepancies and escalate issues back to coding teams
• Conduct side-by-side comparisons and detailed data reviews
• Handle high-volume ticket workloads efficiently

• PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) experience
• Claims adjudication experience
• Benefits coding experience
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, running macros, and data comparison
• Experience using testing tools and database systems
• Ability to interpret testing results and validate outcomes
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical/problem-solving mindset
• Ability to research discrepancies efficiently
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
• Curiosity/inquisitiveness
• Ability to "dig in” and troubleshoot issues
• Strong comprehension and interpretation skills
• Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal supervision

Desired Skills:

• Healthcare claims processing experience
• Medical claims validation experience, claims adjudication experience
• Customer service experience within healthcare/benefits environments
