We are looking for an experienced Geospatial Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise GIS applications and geospatial services. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Esri technologies, geospatial application development, cloud integration, and spatial data management.

This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates based outside the Philippines with a 1-year project engagement and alignment to Manila business hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomatics, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in geospatial application development and enterprise GIS support.

  • Strong experience with Esri technologies, including:

    • ArcGIS Enterprise

    • ArcGIS Server

    • ArcGIS Pro

    • ArcGIS Online

    • ArcPy

    • ArcGIS REST API

    • ArcGIS API for Python

    • ArcGIS API for JavaScript

  • Proficiency in Python and geospatial libraries such as GeoPandas, Shapely, Rasterio, GDAL/OGR, and Fiona.

  • Experience with spatial databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

  • Familiarity with open-source GIS tools including QGIS, GeoServer, and MapServer.

  • Experience building geospatial web applications using technologies such as React, Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL JS, or MapLibre.

  • Experience designing and implementing geospatial APIs and automation frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of spatial data services, coordinate reference systems (CRS), and OGC standards.

  • Experience integrating GIS platforms with AWS and Azure cloud services.

  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Django or GeoDjango.

  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures and API Management.

  • Experience with cloud-native geospatial technologies (STAC, GeoParquet, COG, Zarr).

  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Step Functions.

  • Experience developing service catalogs or reusable GIS asset repositories.

  • Strong technical documentation and knowledge transfer skills.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable geospatial solutions.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Manila Time (must align with the client's business calendar and holidays)
