About the Role
We are looking for a QA Developer to support quality assurance across web applications and APIs. This role works directly with the engineering team under the oversight of a lead, and is expected to contribute hands-on test automation work, particularly in Playwright.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, write, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs
• Build and extend test automation using Playwright, contributing production-ready scripts starting day one
• Support existing test coverage in Cypress and Postman
• Develop test scenarios and scripts within Playwright, not just execute pre-built suites
• Collaborate with engineers on defect identification, reproduction, and resolution
• Report testing status and issues to the team lead

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Developer with a solid understanding of core testing concepts and methodologies
• Experience testing both web applications and APIs
• Hands-on development experience in Playwright, with the ability to write and build automated tests, not just run them
• Working experience with Cypress, Postman, and API testing
• Advanced English (C1/C2)

Additional Information

• Duration: 6-12 months contract.
• Compensation: Hourly pay in USD as a contractor.
• Location: Remote, Latin America. Preferred locations include Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.
• Time Zone: Must be able to work in the US Central Time Zone.
• Equipment: Must be able to provide your own laptop.
