The Role_

// As part of our continued growth and emerging needs we are looking to bring in an experienced Android Developer.

You'll join our Passenger/Justride Apps team, building and evolving Masabi's native Android app, the white-label Justride experience riders use across transit agencies worldwide.

Your focus is bringing our Justride SDK and public API capabilities to life in the app, powering ticketing, fare payment and journey features for millions of riders. Because the app is white-label and deployed across many agencies, you'll build functionality that works cleanly across every deployment.

You'll partner closely with our platform teams, making sure SDK and API capabilities land well in the app, and feeding real-world app needs back into the platform roadmap.

What You'll Be Doing_

• Build and evolve features in Masabi's native Android app, delivering ticketing, fare payment and journey experiences to riders across our transit agencies

• Integrate Justride SDK and public API capabilities into the app, turning platform features into things riders can actually use

• Write clean, maintainable Kotlin that holds up across a white-label codebase serving many agency deployments

• Apply Coroutines and Flow to keep the app responsive and reliable under real-world conditions

• Partner with our platform teams so SDK and API capabilities land well in the app, and feed real app needs back into the platform roadmap

• Help maintain a healthy, releasable codebase, keeping quality high as the app grows

• Bring AI-assisted development tools into your workflow to move faster without cutting corners

Tech Stack_

// We don't expect you to know every part of our stack, but experience with the following technologies will help you succeed in the role:

• Kotlin

• Android Views/XML

• ViewBinding

• Coroutines and Flow

• Gradle (Groovy)

About You_

• Strong Android development experience in Kotlin, comfortable across both Android Views/XML and modern UI patterns

• Fluent with Coroutines and Flow, and confident applying asynchronous programming patterns

• You've shipped and maintained production mobile apps that real users depend on

• Familiar with multi-tenant or white-label applications, where one codebase serves many deployments

• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools, and able to demonstrate how they have incorporated them into engineering workflow

Nice to Have_

• Hands-on experience integrating payment solutions such as Stripe

• Exposure to SDK integrations and public APIs

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
