Chinese-Speaking Regional Events Management Executive

The Role:

We are looking for a Regional Events Management Executive to join our dynamic team in Taiwan 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of eventsensuring adherence to strict deadlines and budgets while maintaining smooth operations. 

 

The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Organise and execute a range of events including corporate gatherings, galas, seminars, conferences, etc. ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, guest accommodations, etc.
  • Develop event concepts and create detailed timelines, budgets, etc.  
  • Support the promotion of events through a variety of initiatives, including manage procurement of event materials, gifts and printed items.
  • Source and manage venues and vendors, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure all deliverables meet company standards.
  • Oversee event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues on the day of the event.
  • Manage a calendar to track project progress and ensure exceptional outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance through client feedback and internal reviews.
  • Manage event inventory and warehouse materials.
  • Undertake any other relevant responsibility as assigned. 

  • Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in event management or a similar role, preferably with hands-on experience organising corporate events.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation and budget management.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin with excellent oral and written skills in English.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage unexpected situations effectively.
  • Positive, proactive, and energetic with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to support onsite event delivery. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
