M0

M0 is the universal stablecoin platform. With M0, builders can create their own stablecoins, and customize attributes such as branding, compliance behaviors, and yield distribution mechanics. By leveraging M0, businesses can monetize their digital dollar use cases and maintain control over their money tech stack, while not being burdened by operational heavy-lifting. Unlike traditional stablecoin models, M0 is built as an open multi-issuer framework that delivers seamless interoperability between $M and its extensions, but also allows builders of custom stablecoins to upgrade into their own issuers and not depend on anyone else for issuance. M0 redefines the stablecoin landscape by eliminating traditional barriers to issuance, enabling an open and composable financial ecosystem where businesses and developers can create, customize, and scale their digital dollar solutions with unmatched flexibility. As a neutral and transparent protocol, M0 ensures that stablecoin liquidity remains fluid, accessible, and optimized for efficiency—laying the groundwork for a more decentralized and resilient financial system. Job description

About M0

M0 is the modular stablecoin infrastructure. It gives businesses everything they need to launch a stablecoin built around their product, with separate, configurable layers for application, distribution, and issuance. Choose your regulated issuer, with the option to switch them later. Design how your stablecoin behaves with templates and custom logic. Tap shared liquidity across the network from day one. Other stablecoin platforms bundle every layer into a single fixed stack. M0 keeps them independent, so your stablecoin stays yours.

Who we’re looking for

M0 is looking for a Lead Brand Designer to push the brand into a new, formative era.

As Lead Brand Designer, you will report directly to the Creative Director and play a key role in defining, differentiating, and scaling the M0 identity across all surfaces, including but not limited to web, campaigns, print, and digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise translating highly complex and technical products and services into strategically compelling and emotionally resonant visual work. You’re exceptionally conceptual, experimental, and iterative — not afraid to learn new things, dive into the deep end, or frolic through your creative mind coming up with striking ideas that push boundaries industry-wide.

What you’ll do

  • Define and evolve M0’s visual identity. Ensure a differentiated presence in the market while expanding the brand’s art direction and design system with strategically sound consistency.
  • Execute sharp design work. This is a role for makers. You know how to execute against briefs and produce thoughtful, smart work on tight timelines.
  • Concept and execute campaign work. Collaborate closely with the CD to ideate through compelling campaign constructions from concept to final assets.
  • Create adaptive toolkits that teams can use for routine self-service content that evolves with the brand.
  • Produce sales and developer materials. One-sheeters, diagrams for dev docs, event banners, slide decks. You get the gist.
  • Leverage AI tools strategically. Not as a crutch. Use innovative tools to enhance operational efficiency, not as a replacement for human-grade creativity and ingenuity.
  • Collaborate across the organization. Work closely with copywriters, marketing, product, BD, and external agencies to produce cutting-edge, on-brand work.
  • Stay current on creative, advertising, and industry trends, along with culture and emerging technologies to inspire fresh, forward-thinking work.

Qualifications

  • 6-9 years of progressive design experience in fast paced environments.
  • A robust portfolio of proven 360° work across campaigns and platforms, solidified by sharp insights and attention to detail. Ultimately, it’s all about your book.
  • Proficiency in web design implementation and hosting platforms, like Framer and Webflow.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics and video editing.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to sell in work and get teams excited by big ideas.
  • Deep familiarity with Web3, stablecoins, and the broader crypto ecosystem. If you don’t have this, you must have a sincere interest and desire to learn — and ramp your knowledge quickly.

Skills and attributes

  • You are a maker; not one to sit on the sidelines and wait to be told what to do.
  • Intensely collaborative. Checks ego at the door.
  • Iterative; you’re always up to explore phase 2, 3, 4.
  • Caught up on industry work and trends.
  • Knows how to pull references and pitch work.
  • Steadiness in uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and driven by excellence.
  • Strategic. Knows how to take business goals and translate them into compelling, industry-leading creative work.
  • “I’ll figure it out” mentality. If you don’t already know how to do it, you’re ready to learn how to do it.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency and in-house experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Expertise translating highly complex and technical products and services into strategically compelling and emotionally resonant visual work.
  • Familiarity in ADA and design-compliance requirements.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation (base salary with equity/ token grant) commensurate with experience.

Benefits

  • Global team and flexibility: Join a truly global team with the flexibility to work remotely or from one of our hubs in NYC or Berlin.
  • Health and wellness: Enjoy comprehensive healthcare insurance coverage as well as a wellbeing allowance and gym membership to support your physical and mental health.
  • Customizable IT setup: Tailor your workspace with access to top-notch IT equipment.
  • Professional development: Benefit from an annual development budget to enhance your skills and grow professionally, including opportunities to participate in conferences and on-site company events worldwide.
