SSM Health is seeking a proactive and strategic Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to support our Physician and Provider Recruitment team. This role serves as a key partner in building physician and advanced practice provider (APP) talent pipelines, supporting long-range workforce planning, and strengthening recruitment operations through innovative sourcing strategies and data-driven talent engagement.

Position Summary

The Recruitment Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging prospective physician and APP candidates through a variety of sourcing channels and networking strategies. This role supports recruiter effectiveness by developing talent pipelines, maintaining candidate databases, managing recruitment event efforts, and ensuring data integrity across recruitment platforms. Once candidates are identified and hired, the Recruitment Sourcing Specialist will process their offers and ensure that they make a clean hand-off to the pre-boarding team at SSM Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive sourcing activities to build pipelines of qualified physician and APP talent for current and future workforce needs.
  • Maintain talent pools that support strategic staffing and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Create and execute sourcing plans for conferences, career fairs, residency events, and other recruitment-focused activities.
  • Organize, track, and manage candidate leads generated through recruitment events and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sourcing activities in accordance with regulatory, compliance, and organizational requirements.
  • Perform audits and quality reviews across applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms, and recruitment databases.
  • Process candidate hires and support data management activities within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, workforce planning, business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, databases, and Microsoft Office products.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting physician, APP, healthcare, or other specialized recruitment functions.
  • Experience using Workday or other similar HR systems.
  • Knowledge of sourcing methodologies, talent mapping, and candidate relationship management.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment events, conferences, or career fairs.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing technologies.

  • Provides documentation of sourcing activities meeting regulatory and compliance guidelines.

  • Performs data audits across recruitment platforms.
  • Processes candidate hires within applicant system.
