Job description

Seeking an entrepreneurial, high-energy Accounting & Finance Recruiter to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing top accounting and finance talent across a variety of industries, including middle-market, private equity-backed, and publicly traded companies.


This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, partner with an exceptional team, and directly contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.


Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of accounting and finance professionals. 

  • Source candidates using: 

    • LinkedIn Recruiter 

    • ZoomInfo 

    • Internal databases and referrals 

    • Networking and market mapping techniques 

  • Recruit for positions including: 

    • Staff Accountant 

    • Senior Accountant 

    • Accounting Manager 

    • Assistant Controller 

    • Controller 

    • FP&A Manager 

    • Director of Finance 

  • Conduct candidate outreach through InMails, calls, emails, and networking strategies. 

  • Evaluate candidates' technical capabilities, career goals, and cultural fit. 


Candidate Management

  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments. 

  • Prepare and present candidate summaries to hiring teams and clients. 

  • Manage candidates throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process. 

  • Provide consultative guidance regarding compensation, market trends, and career opportunities. 

  • Maintain regular communication with candidates before and after placement. 

Collaboration & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Account Managers and recruiters across all verticals. 

  • Participate in intake calls, recruiting strategy sessions, and team meetings. 

  • Share market intelligence, sourcing strategies, and best practices. 

  • Contribute to process improvements and recruiting initiatives that support the growth of the business. 

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and timely records within Salesforce and other recruiting systems. 

  • Track recruiting activity and performance metrics. 

  • Develop long-term talent communities and candidate relationships. 



Requirements

Required

  • Two or more years of recruiting experience in: 

    • Accounting & Finance recruiting (required)

    • Professional staffing 

    • Executive search 

    • Agency recruiting 

  • Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates. 

  • Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously. 

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
