Spotlight Branding

Marketing & Advertising

We believe the best marketing starts with building a strong brand—which means telling your story and positioning yourself as a credible expert. We believe in maintaining top-of-mind awareness, which drives referrals and repeat business. We believe in marketing that creates higher-quality clients by educating and empowering them—not simply “selling” to them. These are tried and true marketing principles that have stood the test of time. But they have been sorely neglected. Most importantly, we believe in the power of marketing loops, rather than funnels, that continue in perpetuity and constantly remind people of who you are and how you can help them. We can help with that.

Job description

We’re a fast-growing digital marketing agency serving small law firms, and we’re hiring a Web Engineer who can build, fix, improve, and maintain websites without turning every technical issue into a five-act drama.

This role is for someone who can jump from a WordPress update to a DNS issue to a landing page build to a mysterious plugin conflict without losing the thread, the file path, or their will to live.

Think Q from James Bond, Scotty from Star Trek, and Roy from The IT Crowd asking whether we’ve cleared the cache before clients start panicking.

(“Clear the cache,” is the next step after “turning it off and on again,” right?)

See? We absolutely need your help.

We’re looking for someone comfortable in WordPress, confident with front-end code, and resourceful enough to solve problems when the answer is buried somewhere between a support forum from 2017, a browser console error, and a very confident AI response that’s almost helpful.

You should enjoy building clean, functional websites, troubleshooting weird errors, improving performance, supporting accessibility, and working with designers, content coordinators, writers, account managers, and SEO strategists to make sure the final product works the way it should.

We also want someone who can use AI tools thoughtfully to improve workflow, troubleshoot faster, test ideas, and create better systems without letting the robots drive the bus.

If you love clean code, responsive websites, smooth launches, good documentation, and the satisfaction of fixing the thing everyone else has been staring at for 45 minutes, let’s talk!

  • Collaborate with designers, writers, SEO strategists, project managers, hosting partners, and WordKeeper developers.
  • Implement ADA-conscious website improvements and cookie consent solutions.
  • Support website enhancements, integrations, technical optimizations, and process improvements.
  • Test websites thoroughly before launches and major updates.
  • Evaluate and use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, problem-solving, and development workflow.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements when they make sense.
