The Opportunity

The Change Management Analyst supports the integrity of all systems by creating and maintaining change management policies and procedures. This involves creating and enforcing policies and standards that ensure configuration items (code, images, database elements, etc.) are versioned and implemented successfully each and every time; daily coordination with teams to support releases; auditing baselines; tracking all versions of change; and implementing standard naming styles and conventions. This position is also responsible for the overall change management process which involves preparing a report of requests for change, coordinating change control and change advisory board meetings, and the approval and communication of changes. In addition, this position may be responsible for maintaining the customization of the change management system and providing metrics derived from this system.

Day in the Life

  • Analyzes proposed changes to determine effect on overall systems.

  • Coordinates recording of modifications for management control.

  • Establishes a change-reporting procedure and prepares directives for change authorization and documentation by appropriate personnel.

  • Daily coordination with development and infrastructure teams; supporting installation and post installation activities.

  • Creates, sustains and maintains relationships across the organization and with cross functional teams.

  • Creates and maintains reports for senior leadership related to Change Management.

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Adhere to Agile principles and philosophies (Scrum or Kanban, as applicable) in fulfillment of the role.

  • Collaborate within the direct team in accordance with Team Agreement, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.

  • Work as a cross-functional team member in an Agile setting to help complete and deliver the team commitments.

  • Collaborate across teams and across business areas in the spirit of an Agile mindset.

  • Fulfill the role in the spirit of the Agile Manifesto, with emphasis on delivery of incremental value with frequent iterations and feedback loops.

  • Organize bi-weekly operational governance meetings with technology stakeholders.

  • Consult with change requestors and change authority, review change management plans and provide coaching.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, change management and/or software configuration management preferred.

  • Three (3) years of experience in financial services strongly preferred.

  • Experience establishing SLAs and availability goals to meet business requirements and budget constraints preferred.

Pay Equity

$67,700.00 - $86,300.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
