2.5+ years of proven experience in property management, leasing, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of local property laws, leasing practices, and building codes. Proficiency in property management software (PropertyMe) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve tenant and property-related issues efficiently. Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Core responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of assigned properties, including tenant relations, rent collection, and lease administration. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties remain in excellent condition and comply with safety regulations. Market vacant properties, screen prospective tenants, and execute lease agreements to maintain high occupancy rates. Prepare and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations. Organise or virtually conduct regular property inspections to identify issues and recommend improvements or upgrades. Handle tenant complaints and disputes in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive tenant experience. Maintain accurate records of property-related documents, including leases, contracts, and maintenance reports.
