SUMMARY OF DUTIES

As a Tender & Contract Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in managing the full life-cycle of tenders and contracts. Your work will ensure that our submissions are timely, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION PERFORMED


  • Tender Intelligence: Monitor and analyze tender alerts to identify opportunities aligned with Merit Medical’s product portfolio.
  • Submission Excellence: Prepare and submit compelling, compliant tender applications via web portals or email.
  • Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with Sales to develop pricing strategies and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
  • Contract Administration: Maintain awarded tenders in our Oracle system and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Catalogue Management: Keep e-catalogues and product classifications up to date and accurate.
  • Performance Insights: Analyze contract awards and performance metrics, including price adjustments and usage trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Regulatory, Legal, and HR teams to ensure complete and compliant submissions.
  • Sales Enablement: Proactively inform Sales of upcoming tender renewals to support timely customer engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to diverse projects aimed at enhancing and streamlining our internal processes.
  • Additional tasks:  Providing support with additional tasks and assisting colleagues across regions, as needed



SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tender or contract management, or a related field is a preference
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database tools
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)se tools.
  • Experience with tender portals and/or ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and/or international environment
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, public procurement)
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Additional European languages are a plus
