Description

At Walton Isaacson, we believe the best ideas are born from diverse perspectives, deep cultural understanding, and fearless collaboration. As one of the nation's leading multicultural advertising agencies, we help the world's most recognized brands build authentic connections with today's consumers through strategy, creativity, media, technology, and culture.

We are seeking a Regional Account Director (RAD) to serve as the senior strategic lead and primary client partner for assigned Lexus Dealer Associations (LDAs) and Lexus Area teams. This role is responsible for building executive-level client relationships, leading integrated marketing strategies, and ensuring alignment between client business objectives and agency solutions. Working closely with the Associate Media Director (AMD), the RAD provides strategic leadership across account management, media, analytics, digital, experiential, and multicultural marketing initiatives (Black, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+) to drive measurable business results, client satisfaction, and agency growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Business Leadership

  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor and senior point of contact for assigned LDAs and Lexus Area leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high level of satisfaction and partnership.
  • Lead annual planning, business reviews, and strategic discussions aligned with client objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and enhanced business performance.
  • Provide proactive counsel by anticipating client needs and identifying emerging business opportunities.
  • Develop trusted executive-level relationships that position Walton Isaacson as a strategic business partner rather than a vendor.
  • Drive organic account growth through strategic recommendations and expanded agency services.

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies across media, digital, experiential, and multicultural channels.
  • Partner with the Associate Media Director to align business goals with media strategy, investment recommendations, and performance optimization.
  • Translate market trends, consumer insights, and cultural shifts into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and seamless collaboration across agency teams and external partners.
  • Champion data-informed decision making by leveraging analytics, campaign performance, and consumer insights.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, production, analytics, and media teams to deliver fully integrated client solutions.

Team & Operational Leadership

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior account team members.
  • Oversee the quality and accuracy of all client-facing deliverables and presentations.
  • Support forecasting, resource planning, budget management, and overall business stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agency quality standards.
  • Support financial management by monitoring account profitability, scopes of work, and resource utilization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of agency experience with significant client-facing leadership responsibilities.
  • Automotive marketing experience required.
  • Experience developing multicultural marketing strategies across diverse consumer segments.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and drive business results.
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns across paid, owned, earned, digital, experiential, and traditional media.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50–60% of the time for client meetings, dealer visits, and team collaboration.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company(applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
