About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time, permanent work-from-home basis. Based in the Philippines, you will manage bookkeeping activities across a portfolio of Australian clients, working closely with our team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial records.

This role suits someone who takes ownership of their work and can operate with confidence and minimal supervision. If you are the kind of person who gets things done without needing to be guided through every step, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing ledgers
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Process payroll across a high volume of employees, including integration with Tanda workforce management software
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for client review
  • Assist with tax preparation and support during audit processes
  • Stay current with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Software & Tools

  • Xero — primary platform (approx. 90% of workload)
  • MYOB — secondary platform used for select clients
  • Tanda — payroll and workforce management integration
  • QuickBooks Online — occasional use only

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within an Australian public practice environment
  • Strong, hands-on proficiency with Xero
  • Solid understanding of Australian bookkeeping principles, BAS, GST, and payroll compliance
  • Experience managing payroll for multiple employees
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work independently day-to-day
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup

What We Offer

  • Salary: PHP 90,000 – 110,000 per month, depending on experience + 13th month pay
