This role is accountable for tracking hardware and software assets, maintaining CMDB data, and supporting reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories within ServiceNow CMDB.
• Track asset lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and retirement.
• Support configuration management and application mapping.
• Reconcile asset data with external systems and generate reports.
• Support software license tracking and renewal planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., reporting, accessibility, security).
• Collaborate with Change and Problem Management on asset-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT asset or configuration management.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle and configuration management processes.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Experience supporting federal asset management processes.
• Familiarity with DCAM, software asset management, and compliance reporting.
