ITCON Services is seeking an IT Asset and Configuration Specialist to manage asset lifecycle and configuration management processes supporting USDA FPAC IT environments. The Specialist maintains accurate asset inventories, supports CMDB integrity, and ensures compliance with federal asset management and reporting requirements.
This role is accountable for tracking hardware and software assets, maintaining CMDB data, and supporting reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories within ServiceNow CMDB.
Track asset lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and retirement.
Support configuration management and application mapping.
Reconcile asset data with external systems and generate reports.
Support software license tracking and renewal planning.
Ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., reporting, accessibility, security).
Collaborate with Change and Problem Management on asset-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of experience in IT asset or configuration management.
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
