Job description

Job Summary:

The role will have extensive experience in project management, a proven ability to oversee complex projects from initiation to completion, and exceptional communication skills to manage both clients and internal teams. This role requires a proactive individual who excels at holding all stakeholders accountable to agreed-upon project plans, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job Location: Remote/Work from Home from the following US States:
CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT

Salary Range: $70 - 80,000/year + bonus DOE

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Project Planning and Execution 
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. 
  • Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
Team Management 
  • Assign tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines to team members. 
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to meet project goals. 
  • Foster collaboration and maintain team morale through effective leadership. 
Client Management 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients regarding project progress, risks, and changes. 
  • Manage client expectations and resolve any concerns promptly. 
Accountability and Oversight 
  • Hold clients and staff accountable for adhering to agreed-upon deliverables and timelines. 
  • Conduct regular status meetings to track progress and address roadblocks. 
  • Implement and enforce project management best practices. 
Risk and Issue Management 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Monitor for issues and conflicts, resolving them efficiently to minimize impact on project timelines. 
Reporting and Documentation 
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and post-project evaluations. 
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and KPIs. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a related education (PMP or equivalent certification is a strong plus)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the software development or IT industry
  • Strong understanding of software implementation methodologies
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive accountability among team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent English language communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Project Management tools
  • Available to work CST 8am-5pm with reasonable flexibility outside this range to work in a global team
  • 1+ year of remote worker experience, comfortable and effective working remotely
