Job description

Work From Anywhere in LATAM or the Philippines

Work Schedule: EST | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET (Monday–Friday)

Compensation Range: $1,000 - $1,500 USD/month based on experience

A boutique U.S. federal immigration law practice is looking for an Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys and senior paralegals across the full immigration case lifecycle.

With more than 25 years of experience, the firm handles business, investor, and family-based immigration matters for entrepreneurs, corporations, and families. It operates in a collaborative, technology-forward environment where AI tools and cloud-based legal systems are integrated into daily casework, allowing the team to scale high-quality case support without sacrificing client service.

Day-to-day, the role centers on building and maintaining organized digital case files, drafting USCIS forms and petition support documentation under supervision, and coordinating client communication across email and video calls. Success means accurate, well-documented case management that helps the legal team absorb growing case volume while keeping quality and responsiveness high.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 1–3 years of administrative, operations, legal support, or office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat for document preparation and handling
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based CRM and document management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, or comparable)
  • Experience preparing, organizing, and reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy before submission
  • Experience coordinating client communication through email and video calls (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • B2+ English (CEFR) for direct, client-facing written and verbal communication

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior U.S. immigration law or USCIS-related experience
  • Familiarity with immigration or legal case management systems (Docketwise, Litify, or Neos)
  • Previous law firm experience in any practice area
  • Spanish fluency in addition to English
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Perplexity) in professional workflows
