Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Lead Financial Planner to join their team.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

As a Senior Lead Financial Planner, you will act as a financial life coach and guide for members aged 55+, helping them navigate the complex transition into and through retirement.

  • High-Impact Engagement: Conduct 4–6 virtual strategy sessions per day, translating technical complexities into actionable paths that align with your members' long-term life goals and inciting action.
  • Comprehensive Execution: Take full ownership of the planning lifecycle—from cash flow management and advanced investment strategies to tax planning strategies and integrated risk management. Deeply focus on pre-retiree/retiree issues, including Social Security claiming, Medicare options, income source coordination (pensions, annuities), and estate plan integration.
  • Relationship Management: Rapidly establish deep-seated trust in a remote environment, maintaining an organized and elite client experience within the dynamic, fast-paced energy of a scaling firm.
  • Emotional Architect: Exceptional soft skills to expertly provide confidence and reassurance in the plan. Effectively manages member emotions and adjusts communication style based on audience.
  • Elite Time Management: Effectively and ruthlessly manage your calendar to provide an organized experience while staying adaptable to the fast-paced energy of a scaling firm.

Requirements

  • CFP® designation
  • MST or PST Location preferred
  • 15+ years of member facing financial planning experience with a significant focus on pre-retirement and retirement planning.
  • Exceptional follow up and typing/written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build connections with members
  • Flexibility with hours to accommodate member meetings 2 nights per week
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn in-house software and tools
  • Exceptional time and calendar management skills – this is one of the biggest keys to success as a Facet planner

Benefits

  • $135,000 - $160,000 base salary + bonus determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant - Please note, our salary ranges are based on current market data.
