As a Team Leader in Payment Operations, you play a key role in making sure those moments happen smoothly, securely, and on time. You’ll lead a team that keeps our payments moving and our customers trusting us every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing

This role is all about leading people, driving performance, and keeping operations running seamlessly.

Leading your team

  • Guide, coach, and support your team to deliver at their best
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and help team members grow
  • Manage rosters and workloads to keep operations running smoothly
  • Handle challenges quickly and create a positive team environment (inferred section content: People Management)

Owning payments operations

  • Oversee daily pay-in and pay-out transactions across systems and partners
  • Ensure payments are accurate, on time, and compliant
  • Identify and resolve issues, errors, and discrepancies
  • Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk

Improving processes

  • Create and update SOPs to keep teams aligned and efficient
  • Work with stakeholders to improve workflows and systems
  • Train your team on new processes and product updates

Working across the business

  • Collaborate with teams across Customer Support, Finance, Product, and more
  • Engage with external partners to resolve queries and improve processes
  • Support projects and initiatives that impact payment operations

Keeping things on track

  • Monitor performance, trends, and risks
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Support reporting, audits, and operational tracking

What you bring

  • Experience in customer support or payments operations (3–5 years)
  • Leadership experience (2–3 years)
  • Strong understanding of money transfer processes and systems
  • Confidence managing people, performance, and priorities
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
