Payroll Operations & Projects Consultant
Remote (Based in Poland)
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Start Date: ASAP

 

We’re recruiting on behalf of a global organisationundergoing a major transformation of its international payroll operations. Aspart of this strategic initiative, we’re looking for experienced PayrollOperations & Projects Consultants to join their team and help shape thefuture of payroll delivery on a global scale.

This is a remote position based in Poland, ideal forprofessionals ready to lead both operational and project-level change in acomplex, fast-paced environment.

The Role

You will play a critical dual function – driving projectdelivery while also supporting day-to-day payroll operations. Workingcross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams,you'll ensure both smooth implementation and operational continuity duringperiods of transition and change.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

·         Lead end-to-end payroll project lifecyclesacross global and regional scopes

·         Drive key initiatives including new payrollsetups, vendor transitions, and technology integrations

·         Manage project plans, timelines, risks, andstakeholder updates

·         Translate complex business and technical needsinto clear, actionable deliverables

·         Ensure rigorous testing, quality assurance, anddocumentation across all implementations

·         Contribute to post-project reviews and ongoingprocess improvements

Operational Payroll Support

·         Act as a subject matter expert during times ofchange, providing hands-on payroll support

·         Troubleshoot issues across processing,reconciliations, and vendor interactions

·         Partner with third-party vendors (e.g.,CloudPay, local payroll providers) to ensure compliance and timely delivery

·         Support payroll across multiple Europeancountries including Poland, Germany, Italy, and France

·         Contribute to audits, reviews, and developmentof payroll SOPs and controls



Requirements

What We’re Looking For

·         5+ years' experience in payroll operationsand/or project-based payroll delivery

·         Strong knowledge of payroll compliance,cross-border operations, and vendor management

·         Experience with CloudPay and/or Workdayintegrations

·         Ability to work autonomously, with sounddecision-making and stakeholder communication skills

·         Highly organised with excellent attention todetail

·         Comfortable working in complex, fast-movingenvironments

 

Desirable (Not Essential)

·         Experience working in shared services or managedservice payroll environments

·         A hands-on, solutions-focused approach

·         Proven ability to build strong, collaborativeglobal relationships
