GENERAL

Climate Collective is looking for a Consultant based either in Sri Lanka (full-time/half-time), preferably with experience in Adaptation & Resilience.
- You can be located anywhere in Sri Lanka, as the position is remote.
- There will be travel required for regular meetings with senior private and public-sector officers within India or Sri Lanka, and overseas (including in Maldives)
- In addition, there are mandatory company retreats (every 4 months).
- You should be willing to work in IST (largely), with calls with collaborators in US east/west coast time zones.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 6 - 10 years of relevant experience; preferably including managing projects funded by international development agencies (for example, projects funded by USAID or similar agencies)
- This role requires strong project management experience, business development skills, the ability to communicate clearly and consistently, and an inherent and natural interest in working with people.
- Most importantly (and especially since we're a distributed team), we like people who are entrepreneurial, and intrinsically motivated about working with climate tech startups
