ABOUT US 
 
Climate Collective Foundation, an Indian not-for-profit organization, runs climate-focused startup support programs, including the largest early-stage Climate Tech accelerator in South Asia.  

Since 2016, the Climate Collective Foundation (“CCF”) has been a leader in supporting Climate Tech startups in India & South Asia. It has now become the largest private-sector platform in South Asia. Our activities to build up the ecosystem include: 

  • Climate startup accelerator programs for early-stage (pre-Series A) companies 

  • Funding platforms for pre-Series A climate tech startups 

  • Educational courses for students, researchers & entrepreneurs 

  • Community initiatives to amplify climate issues & and mitigation through entrepreneurship 

  • Focus on inclusivity and building up a diverse ecosystem in climate entrepreneurship

GENERAL 

Climate Collective is looking for a full-time Community Manager, with experience working in the climate sector /experience working with startups/ or both. 
- You can be located anywhere in India, as the position is remote. 
- However, there will be travel required for regular meetings and mandatory company retreats (every 4 months). 
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the team in designing community & running operations. 
  • Manage and train the community team 
  • Design and manage community engagement activities and events 
  • Build relationships to increase the community's occupancy and foster existing member relationships. 
  • Run outreach campaigns to reach potential community members 
  • Be the go-to person for CCF community management 
  • Collaborate with all program managers to support outreach & marketing activities 
  • Maintain all the data related to community members and activities 
  • Plan activities to scale the community and report regular progress. 
  • Assist in any other programs/initiatives that CCF wishes to undertake 


Requirements

SPECIFIC 


Education:
- Bachelor or Master in any degree
Experience:

 - We're looking for someone with 5-8 years of work experience, with 2-3 years of community experience. 
- This role requires strong management experience, the ability to communicate clearly and consistently, and an inherent and natural interest in working with people. Most importantly (and especially since we're a distributed team), we like people who are entrepreneurial, and intrinsically motivated about working with startups.
