Sourcing Specialist – Skincare Products (Korea)

Sperton Global AS, a global recruitment and consulting firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, has partnered with a fast-growing U.S.-based DTC fashion and apparel brand within the retail industry. We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist – Skincare Products to lead supplier sourcing, product development coordination, and procurement activities within the Korean beauty industry.
This role will focus on identifying and managing manufacturing partners, supporting skincare product sourcing initiatives, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving efficient end-to-end sourcing operations for international markets.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage manufacturers, OEM/ODM partners, raw material suppliers, and packaging vendors within the Korean skincare and cosmetics market.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and reliable delivery performance.

• Lead sourcing activities across skincare categories including formulation development, packaging sourcing, and commercialization support.

• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Conduct supplier capability assessments, factory evaluations, and vendor negotiations related to pricing, production timelines, and commercial agreements.

• Manage procurement and sourcing operations to support business objectives and product launch timelines.

• Oversee supplier compliance processes and ensure adherence to quality, regulatory, and manufacturing standards.

• Support import/export documentation and international trade requirements for global distribution.

• Monitor production schedules and supply chain performance to proactively resolve delays and operational risks.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Cosmetics, Chemical Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.

• 3–7+ years of experience in skincare, cosmetics, beauty, or personal care sourcing and procurement.

• Strong understanding of the Korean skincare and cosmetics manufacturing ecosystem (OEM/ODM model preferred).

• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, qualification, negotiation, and vendor relationship management.

• Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal) to support local and international collaboration.

Existing network of Korean skincare manufacturers and suppliers.
