Data Analyst (Remote – Nearshore Preferred | MSP Operations)

Job Title: Data Analyst – MSP Performance & Operations
Company: GSD Staffing (Supporting US & Canada-Based MSP Companies)
Applicants: Remote (Candidates preferred from Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Belize, Colombia, and Mexico)
Hours: 44 hours per week, Monday through Friday (Weekends Off)
Compensation: $1,200 – $1,300 per month (Depending on experience)

GSD Staffing connects nearshore professionals with Managed Service Provider (MSP) companies across the United States and Canada. Our MSP partners provide IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services, and infrastructure management, operating in performance-driven, SLA-based environments.

This role is for direct placement with one of our MSP partner organizations.

Position Overview

The Data Analyst – MSP Performance & Operations is responsible for analyzing service delivery metrics, technician performance, sales data, and recurring revenue trends within an MSP environment. This role transforms operational data into insights that improve efficiency, profitability, and client retention.

The ideal candidate understands service-based KPIs and can build actionable dashboards for leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze service ticket volume, resolution times, and SLA compliance
• Track technician productivity and utilization rates
• Monitor MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and contract performance
• Evaluate client retention and churn trends
• Support sales pipeline reporting for managed services agreements
• Build dashboards and reports using Excel or BI tools
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
• Maintain data integrity across CRM and PSA systems
• Automate recurring reporting processes
• Prepare weekly and monthly executive summaries

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or operations analytics
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with CRM systems
• Ability to interpret operational KPIs and service metrics
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple datasets in a structured environment
• Reliable remote work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an MSP or IT services company
• Familiarity with PSA tools such as ConnectWise or Autotask
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Understanding of recurring revenue models and SLA reporting
• Experience supporting U.S. or Canada-based organizations
