ABOUT RUVIXX

At Ruvixx, our mission is to take the complexity out of software license compliance. We blend a cutting-edge tech platform with a genuinely human-first approach, transforming difficult challenges into clear growth opportunities. Our globally distributed team is driven by the desire to build strong, transparent client partnerships, always choosing collaboration over confrontation. If you are eager to tackle high-stakes problems, champion the use of emerging technologies, and make a measurable impact from your very first day, we’d love to have you on our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive, mid-level IT Manager to oversee our IT department’s day-to-day operations. This role is a perfect stepping stone for an experienced IT Administrator or Support Specialist who is ready to take on department-level ownership.

Working directly under the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will ensure our fully remote workforce has the secure, reliable, and modern tech stack they need to thrive. While you will have the continuous support and guidance of leadership, you'll be given the autonomy to run daily operations and spearhead two critical areas: implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and managing our Mobile Device Management (MDM) ecosystem. You will explore emerging tech, pilot new tools, and help establish clear guidelines for safe AI usage across our team, all backed by a strong foundation in security compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive AI Implementation (Top Priority): Serve as our go-to resource for practical AI adoption. You will research, test, and implement AI tools that boost team efficiency. Working with the CTO, you will help draft and enforce clear guidelines for safe and effective AI usage across the company.
  • Manage Our MDM Ecosystem (Top Priority): Administer our MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf). Handle daily device provisioning, policy enforcement, and software deployment across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Support Security & Compliance: Fortify our infrastructure by executing day-to-day security policies. You will play a key role in supporting our compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) by assisting with internal audits and keeping documentation up-to-date and flawless.
  • Oversee IT Operations: Manage the IT department's daily functions during standard PST working hours. Handle support escalations, run onboarding/offboarding for team members, and execute IT projects aligned with the CTO's vision.
  • Optimize and Document: Continuously refine current systems, help automate repetitive workflows, and build comprehensive knowledge-base articles to empower our remote team to self-serve when possible.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mid-Level IT Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in an IT administration, senior IT support, or junior IT management role.
  • PST Availability: Must be able to work full-time hours closely aligned with the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
  • Strong AI Foundation: Practical experience using AI tools and the technical curiosity to evaluate new platforms. You should be comfortable translating AI capabilities into secure, everyday operational tasks.
  • Hands-on MDM Expertise: Proven experience administering and deploying MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf, FleetDM).
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, capable of supporting a global workforce and communicating effectively with leadership.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Strong ability to manage daily operations independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate with leadership on larger strategic goals within a fully remote environment.
  • Core Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPNs, firewalls) and enterprise cloud applications (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exposure to or basic understanding of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Relevant industry credentials (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Microsoft/Jamf certifications, or AI-focused qualifications).

WHY JOIN US?

  • Step Up in Your Career: This is an ideal role for a mid-level professional looking to take ownership of a department, acting as a pivotal player in our technological scaling.
  • Impact from Day One: Have a direct hand in defining how our company adopts next-generation AI and manages remote infrastructure.
  • Modern Tech Stack: Work with cutting-edge, cloud-native tools in a forward-thinking, agile environment.
  • True Flexibility: Enjoy the autonomy of a fully remote contract role based anywhere within Latin America.
