Role Overview

  • We're partnering with a respected Australian education provider to find an experienced AU RTO Aged Care Assessor who is passionate about developing the next generation of care professionals.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to bring your real-world experience in aged care, disability support, nursing, community care, or individual support into vocational education. You'll help learners transform knowledge into competence by assessing their progress, providing meaningful feedback, and ensuring they're ready to deliver quality care where it matters most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and mark student assessments against competency requirements.
  • Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback to learners.
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and compliance documentation.
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
  • Work within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and education platforms.
  • Contribute to maintaining educational and industry standards.
  • Ensure assessment practices align with RTO requirements
  • Stay current with aged care, disability support, and vocational education developments.
  • Support learner progression through quality assessment practices.
  • Maintain consistency and compliance across assessment outcomes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience within Australian aged care, disability support, nursing, community care, or support services.
  • Strong understanding of care documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, supervising, or supporting team members.
  • Strong written communication and feedback skills.
  • Confidence using technology and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to complete the required Assessor Skill Set qualification if not already obtained.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Previous experience assessing for an Australian RTO.
  • Assessor qualifications.
  • Nursing qualifications.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) background.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Vocational education and training sector experience.

Work Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Work Setup: Fully Remote / Work From Home.
  • Market Supported: Australia.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day-shift (AEST).
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Australia may be required for industry engagement, training, or work experience activities.
