Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Full-Time Legal Assistant to provide dedicated support within their esteemed Canadian law practice. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, proofread, and manage a high volume of legal correspondence and critical documents.

  • Conduct thorough legal and title searches with precision and attention to detail.

  • Serve as a primary liaison with various third parties, including clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.

  • Provide specialized administrative support for Wills, Estates, and Real Estate matters.

  • Prepare and organize essential legal documentation for estate administration and court filings.

  • Manage a demanding executive calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and deadlines.

  • Efficiently process a high volume of daily emails, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely responses.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, specifically within Canadian Wills, Estates, and Real Estate law.

  • Exceptional command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, proactively anticipate needs, and manage a high-volume workload.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a charming and professional demeanor for client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Formal education or certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in a similar role within a Canadian law firm.
