Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Healthcare Outreach & Appointment Setting Specialist to strengthen their U.S. healthcare referral network through proactive business development, strategic prospecting, and qualified meeting coordination.

Our client is a growing U.S.-based healthcare organization specializing in physician-led medical services and care management solutions. They are expanding their partnerships across the healthcare industry, helping providers improve access to medical services, coordinate patient care, and support individuals transitioning from hospital settings to ongoing care.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident, results-oriented professional who enjoys outbound prospecting, building relationships with healthcare decision-makers, and converting conversations into business opportunities.

The specialist will focus exclusively on the U.S. healthcare market, connecting with organizations such as physician practices, home health agencies, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and other healthcare referral partners.

This is a high-volume outbound appointment-setting role, rather than a traditional account management or sales-closing position.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily outbound calling campaigns targeting healthcare organizations throughout the United States.

  • Identify and connect with key stakeholders, including business owners, healthcare administrators, executive directors, clinical leaders, referral coordinators, and practice managers.

  • Research prospective healthcare partners and develop organized, targeted contact lists.

  • Present the organization's physician-led, home-based medical, and care management services clearly and professionally.

  • Build interest in potential referral partnerships and identify relevant business development opportunities.

  • Arrange qualified introductory meetings between healthcare decision-makers and the company's executive leadership.

  • Develop personalized outreach emails and maintain consistent communication with prospective partners.

  • Follow up strategically with contacts who have expressed interest or have not yet committed to a meeting.

  • Maintain accurate prospect information, interaction histories, and pipeline updates within the CRM or designated tracking platform.

  • Confirm appointments, communicate meeting details, and help minimize no-show rates.

  • Navigate conversations with receptionists and administrative personnel to reach appropriate decision-makers.

  • Monitor daily prospecting activities, document results, and provide regular performance updates.

  • Work toward established weekly and monthly outreach and appointment-setting goals.

  • Maintain a consistent, high-volume prospecting workflow throughout the assigned schedule.

Target healthcare organizations include:

  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) suppliers

  • Certified home health and home care agencies

  • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)

  • Assisted living communities

  • Primary care and specialty physician practices

  • Outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation providers

  • Hospice and palliative care organizations

  • Care management and care coordination companies

  • Hospitals and post-acute care organizations

  • Community-based healthcare providers

Qualified appointment criteria: Meetings must involve individuals with authority or influence over referral relationships, organizational partnerships, or patient services. These may include owners, administrators, executive directors, business development or marketing directors, clinical directors, practice managers, referral managers, care coordination leaders, and operations executives.

Appointments arranged exclusively with general reception personnel will not count as qualified meetings.

Requirements

  • Near-native or native-level English proficiency, both spoken and written.

  • Excellent pronunciation, conversational fluency, and confidence conducting professional telephone conversations with U.S. healthcare stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of American business communication styles, professional terminology, and conversational nuances.

  • Ability to communicate naturally while following structured outreach scripts and messaging guidelines.

  • Confidence conducting frequent outbound calls and engaging prospective partners who may not be familiar with the organization.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Professional email-writing skills and consistent follow-up habits.

  • Ability to handle objections, rejection, and unanswered outreach attempts while maintaining motivation.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable pipeline management.

  • Proficiency in online research, prospect identification, and general computer applications.

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet measurable performance expectations.

  • Reliable high-speed internet access and a dedicated, professional remote workspace.

  • Availability Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.

  • Willingness to focus prospecting activities on U.S.-based healthcare organizations and professionals.

Qualifications

The following experience is highly valued but not mandatory:

  • Previous experience in outbound sales development, B2B lead generation, appointment setting, telemarketing, or business development.

  • Exposure to U.S. healthcare organizations or healthcare-related business services.

  • Familiarity with medical practices, home health services, DME providers, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or post-acute care.

  • Experience communicating directly with American executives, healthcare administrators, or other organizational decision-makers.

  • Previous use of CRM software for prospect tracking, contact management, and sales pipeline organization.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting and professional contact research.

  • Background in healthcare-focused BPO operations, call centers, or outbound business development teams.

  • Understanding of common U.S. healthcare terminology and referral processes.

  • Demonstrated success booking meetings with qualified business decision-makers

Benefits

  • 100% remote position, open to qualified international candidates.

  • Part-time schedule: 25 hours per week.

  • Working hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Eastern Time.

  • Consistent weekday schedule with no weekend work included in the stated arrangement.

  • Opportunity to increase working hours based on individual performance and organizational needs.
