Closer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Real Estate Closing Coordinator to manage the end-to-end real estate closing process. The ideal candidate will ensure all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with lender, title, and company requirements. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, and experience coordinating with lenders, title companies, and internal teams to facilitate successful closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete real estate closing process from file receipt through final closing and recording.
• Review and comply with lender instructions, title requirements, company policies, and other written closing instructions.
• Balance and reconcile closing disclosures, settlement statements, and lender funding requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule closings with lenders, title companies, attorneys, borrowers, and other stakeholders.
• Compile, review, and distribute closing packages and lender documentation.
• Ensure all closing documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with lenders, title agents, escrow officers, and internal departments regarding closing status and requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve atypical issues that may impact closing timelines.
• Evaluate available options and apply established procedures to ensure successful transaction completion.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates throughout the closing process.
• Prioritize workload, manage multiple files simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for less experienced team members.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate closings, title, escrow, mortgage lending, or post-closing operations.
• Strong understanding of real estate closing procedures, lender requirements, and title processes.
• Experience balancing Closing Disclosures (CDs), settlement statements, and funding figures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with title companies, settlement agents, or mortgage lenders.
• Knowledge of RESPA, TRID, and other applicable real estate closing regulations.
• Familiarity with real estate settlement and title software platforms.
• Experience handling multi-state transactions.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Not required.
• Industry certifications related to mortgage, title, escrow, or real estate closings are a plus.
