Job Role: Bookkeeper

Work Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM AEST

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,700 AUD / Monthly

Our focus is on creating a personalised shopping experience that makes fashion feel more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for a wide range of customers.

We work across curated fashion collections, styling support, digital retail experiences, and customer engagement, offering a broad range of apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products suited to different preferences, body types, and occasions. By combining technology with a customer-first approach, we aim to simplify the shopping journey while delivering a high level of service and convenience.

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations across multiple business entities. This role is ideal for someone with strong Australian bookkeeping experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage payroll, reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting while working independently.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, venue managers, and external accountants to ensure accurate financial records and smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple business entities
  • Process payroll for approximately 65 staff accurately and on time
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations using Xero
  • Assist with invoicing, financial record keeping, and reporting support
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for BAS, GST, PAYG, and accountant review
  • Provide general administrative support including inventory tracking, order receiving, supplier coordination, and data entry
  • Coordinate with external accountants, suppliers, venue managers, and internal stakeholders
  • Support financial and operational processes across multiple sites or business units

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Strong proficiency in Xero is essential
  • Candidates must be confident using Xero, with technical capability to complete Xero assessments as part of the recruitment process
  • Experience processing payroll and understanding compliance requirements
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Ability to manage multiple entities or business units simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience with inventory management and invoice processing systems
  • Experience using POS, rostering, purchasing, or inventory systems is highly regarded
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or multi-venue businesses is preferred, though not essential
