SEO Lead (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded SEO Lead to lead and execute our organic growth strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability across technical SEO, content optimisation, keyword strategy, and performance reporting.
The successful candidate will take ownership of improving search visibility, increasing qualified organic traffic, and driving measurable business impact through SEO initiatives. SEO Strategy & Growth
Own and manage the overall SEO roadmap aligned with business growth goals
Identify opportunities to increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversions
Develop and execute short- and long-term SEO initiatives across multiple digital assets
Monitor industry trends, search algorithm updates, and competitor activity to maintain competitive advantage
Technical SEO
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and prioritise fixes
Partner with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data issues
Improve site architecture, URL structure, canonicalisation, redirects, and XML sitemap management
Ensure websites follow SEO best practices across desktop and mobile experiences
Keyword Research & Content Optimisation
Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search opportunities
Analyse search intent and competitor positioning to inform content strategy
Create SEO-driven content briefs for writers and content teams
Optimise existing content and landing pages to improve rankings and user engagement
Identify content gaps and opportunities for scalable organic growth
On-Page SEO & Internal Linking
Improve metadata, headings, content structure, and on-page optimisation across key pages
Develop and implement internal linking strategies to improve topical authority and crawl efficiency
Ensure all SEO recommendations align with UX and conversion goals
Authority Building & Off-Page SEO
Support backlink acquisition and digital authority-building initiatives
Monitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities to improve domain authority
Collaborate on outreach or partnership opportunities that support SEO growth
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog
Track rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversion performance
Produce regular SEO reports with actionable insights, priorities, and recommendations
Clearly communicate SEO impact and progress to stakeholders
Requirements
3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of organic growth
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content SEO
Experience managing SEO initiatives from strategy through execution
Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools including:
