Walker Bowen Talent Partners is excited to partner with a scaling non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) health tech company as they continue to grow and invest in building a high-impact, people-first organization.
We're searching for their first Talent Acquisition Specialist - a critical role responsible for shaping and evolving the talent acquisition function during a period of meaningful growth.
If you’re energized by building and strengthening people strategies, partnering closely with leadership, and creating an environment where teams can do their best work, while staying connected to a mission that improves access to care, we’d love to connect!
Our Client
Our client is a technology and services company dedicated to reducing barriers to care by improving the delivery of non-emergency medical transportation to people across America. Our client employs proprietary technology, paired with a nationwide network of vetted transportation providers. This enables payers and health systems to deliver cost-effective, on-demand transportation intelligently, enhancing the patient experience in the process. They serve the largest Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and provider programs in the country.
The Role
Our client is a high growth, mission driven, firm. To support and sustain their rapid growth, they are completely redesigning our People function to align directly with the Employee Lifecycle: Attract, Core Infrastructure, Engage, and Reward.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to serve as the subject matter expert for the Attract & Hire stage. Currently, their hiring processes are fragmented. They need a strategic builder to come in, establish their hiring fundamentals from the ground up, and act as a true partner to their business leaders and Finance team.
As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will own the end-to-end recruitment process for both leveraged corporate roles and volume & velocity roles across our client's operations. You will be responsible for implementing their Applicant Tracking System, designing standardized interview frameworks, and leveraging automation to create a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience.
Your core responsibilities will focus on these core areas:
Process Design & Excellent Foundation: Develop and implement hiring fundamentals, including structured intake forms, competency-based scorecards, standardized question banks, and formal interview debrief cadences. Tailor hiring workflows to accommodate both high volume hiring needs and specialized, leveraged role requirements.
Technology & Automation: Up level our Applicant Tracking System (starting with BambooHR) to serve as our single source of truth for all hiring data. Identify opportunities to embed automation within the recruitment workflow (ex., automated interview scheduling, candidate status triggers, manager feedback nudges, JD creation) to eliminate manual administrative tasks.
Partnership & Headcount Planning: Serve as an integrated partner to the Finance team to ensure strict alignment on headcount planning, budget approvals, and compensation bands. Act as a talent advisor to hiring managers and functional business leaders, guiding them through market realities and candidate selection.
Sourcing & Employer Branding: Implement AI power tools to simplify and upgrade our candidate sourcing and screening motions. Partner with our marketing team to elevate our client's employer brand to attract top-tier talent.
Data & Metrics: Define, track, and report on core KPIs, specifically time-to-fill and quality of hire metrics.
