Job description

We're currently recruiting a Director of Sales on behalf of our client, the largest company in the global trade and compliance space. With over 40,000 customers across North America and dominant market share in their industry, this is a rare opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team at a true category leader.

You must be located in CT time zone: Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota

The Role

This is a sales leadership position managing a team of 7 to 9 Account Executives across North America. You'll be leading hunters, developing talent, and driving revenue for a business that already has the brand, the customer base, and the infrastructure behind it.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 to 9 quota-carrying Account Executives
  • Drive pipeline growth and revenue performance across the US and Canada
  • Build a culture of accountability, consultative selling, and consistent execution
  • Partner with senior leadership on go-to-market strategy and team direction
  • Travel regularly to support your team and engage with customers across North America

What We're Looking For

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience leading a B2B sales team with quota-carrying reps
  • Strong consultative selling background, you know how to navigate complex deals and teach your team to do the same
  • Experience in global trade or compliance is a bonus, but not a requirement. We're open to strong leaders from adjacent industries
  • A track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing salespeople
  • Must be based in a Central Time Zone state with the ability to travel


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $170,000
  • Bonus: 33% target
  • Car Allowance
  • Health Insurance
