Reports to:  Senior Director, Community Engagement 

Department: BridgeUSA Placements

Locations:  US Remote (Cape Cod Falmouth area, MA; Wisconsin Dells, WI; Lake George, NY)

You are a relationship-focused professional with strong ties to your local community and a passion for cultural exchange. You thrive in networking environments, enjoy building partnerships, and are motivated by connecting local employers and international participants with meaningful international exchange opportunities.

You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable representing CIEE within the local business community. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with employers, community leaders, host families, and program stakeholders.


What you’ll do: 

Community & Employer Engagement

  • Serve as a local ambassador and community liaison for CIEE BridgeUSA programs.
  • Identify and cultivate new host employer partnerships to support participant placement opportunities.
  • Introduce prospective host employers to the Seasonal Exchanges Host Sales team.
  • Promote awareness of CIEE programs and the value of international exchange within the community.


Sales & Partnership Development

  • Support host employer outreach efforts by identifying businesses interested in participating in seasonal exchange programs.
  • Implement strategies to expand employer engagement and increase placement opportunities within the region.
  • Assist in strengthening partnerships with current host employers.


Community Programming & Events

  • Coordinate quarterly community engagement events involving host employers, participants, and community partners.
  • Support local initiatives that enhance participant experiences and strengthen community involvement.
  • Assist with planning networking events, cultural activities, and employer appreciation efforts.
  • Represent CIEE at local meetings, participant events, and community gatherings as needed.


Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with internal CIEE teams regarding employer feedback, community trends, and partnership opportunities.
  • Provide insights into local market conditions and seasonal workforce needs.
  • Support positive relationships between participants, employers, host families, and community stakeholders.


What you’ll bring: 

  • An established network of employers and community connections within your Community.
  • Experience in community engagement, partnership development, business outreach, or sales support.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating events, community initiatives, or stakeholder engagement activities preferred.
  • Familiarity with seasonal employment programs, hospitality, tourism, or international exchange programs is a plus.
  • Passion for cultural exchange, international education, and CIEE’s mission.
