Job description

This is a remote position.

Position Overview:

This role involves editing and producing high-impact video content, designing motion graphics, and delivering platform-optimized short-form content (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) that aligns with our brand and project objectives.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in podcast content production (full episode edits, highlights, teasers, and trailers), strong capability in short-form storytelling, and hands-on expertise creating AI-assisted video content (AI voice, AI avatars, generative visuals, automated captions, and smart enhancement workflows) while maintaining a high-quality, human-centered creative output.

In addition, the candidate should be confident working with professional camera systems and production setups—understanding camera types, lenses, framing, lighting basics, audio capture best practices, and file formats—to ensure smooth post-production workflows and consistent visual quality.

This position requires excellent storytelling sense, strong technical editing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished final deliverables (transitions, pacing, color correction/grading, and sound design/mixing).

  • Produce promotional videos, ads, tutorials, explainers, and brand stories.

  • Create platform-optimized exports (YouTube/Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn) with correct aspect ratios and safe zones.

  • Organize files, proxies, templates, and assets for an efficient workflow.

Podcast Editing & Repurposing

  • Edit full podcast episodes (video + audio): noise reduction, EQ, compression, leveling, and multi-camera sync.

  • Produce highlights, teasers, intros/outro, trailers, and episodic branding elements.

  • Add captions/subtitles, chapter markers, and engaging overlays to improve retention and accessibility.

  • Ensure audio loudness consistency suitable for publishing platforms.

Reels / Shorts / TikTok Production

  • Produce high-retention short-form videos with strong hooks, fast pacing, dynamic captions, and clear CTAs.

  • Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips using value-first storytelling.

  • Create A/B variants (hooks, captions, thumbnails, pacing) to improve watch time and engagement.

Motion Graphics Design

  • Create motion graphics, animations, and VFX to enhance storytelling.

  • Design title sequences, lower thirds, transitions, and on-screen graphics.

  • Build reusable motion templates aligned with brand guidelines.

AI Video Production (AI Films & Creative Content)

  • Produce AI-assisted videos and short films using generative visuals, AI voice/avatars, upscaling, and automated workflows.

  • Blend traditional editing with AI pipelines (script-to-video, smart cut downs, auto captions).

  • Ensure ethical and legally safe usage of AI-generated assets (rights/licensing/brand compliance).

Professional Cameras & Production Expertise

  • Work with professional camera systems (bodies, lenses, frame rates, codecs, profiles) to ensure production-ready footage.

  • Apply lighting and composition fundamentals to improve quality and post-production efficiency.

  • Manage audio capture best practices (lav/shotgun/recorders) and media offload/backups.

Concept Development

  • Brainstorm concepts and storyboard/script with marketing and creative teams.

  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, style, and objectives.

Software & Tools Proficiency

  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Cinema 4D (plus audio tools as needed).

  • Stay updated with trends, techniques, and new tools in editing, motion design, and AI video.

Quality Assurance

  • Review, revise, and troubleshoot technical issues (sync, codecs, renders, color consistency).

  • Ensure final exports meet platform specs and internal standards.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Align with stakeholders on goals, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Present drafts and final cuts for feedback and approval.
