Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

They work closely with clients to coordinate content production, manage publishing schedules, and create social-first campaigns that align with brand goals and audience engagement trends.

Role Overview

The Sr Social Media Manager will oversee social media management, client communication, content coordination, and publishing execution across multiple platforms. This role will work closely with clients, videographers, and video editors to ensure content is planned, produced, and published according to brand goals, timelines, and current social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Scheduling

  • Communicate directly with clients to schedule shoots and events based on project timelines and content needs.

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and content planning with internal creative teams and clients.

Social Media Management

  • Manage social media accounts across multiple platforms while ensuring content aligns with brand goals and client expectations.

  • Post content regularly and manage publishing schedules to maintain a consistent online presence.

  • Utilize planning and scheduling platforms to organize and manage content across customer brands.

Content Creation & Coordination

  • Stay up to date with current social media trends, platform updates, and viral content formats, particularly within U.S.-based brands and audiences.

  • Develop relevant content ideas and creative concepts tailored to client goals and audience engagement.

  • Create detailed shot lists and content instructions for videographers to support content production.

Collaboration & Creative Execution

  • Work closely with video editors to ensure content is edited according to client guidelines and optimized for posting.

  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content quality, consistency, and timely execution.

  • Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and video editing platforms to support captions, copywriting, automation, and content workflows.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management.

  • Experience communicating directly with clients to plan and schedule content creation initiatives.

  • Experience managing content schedules and publishing workflows across social media platforms.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and best practices, particularly for U.S.-based audiences and brands.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with videographers, video editors, and creative teams.

  • Experience using AI tools and automation platforms for social media workflows, captions, copywriting, and content support.

  • Experience using content planning and scheduling platforms.

  • Creative, proactive, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
