They partner with companies built for and by the community, creating meaningful storytelling and engagement strategies that prioritize authenticity, nuance, and cultural alignment across digital platforms.
Fully remote | 30 hours per week
The Social Media Content Manager will support the planning, creation, and management of social media and written marketing content across multiple client accounts. This role will focus on developing content strategies, writing engaging social and long-form content, and managing day-to-day content execution while ensuring messaging remains authentic and culturally aligned with LGBTQ audiences.
Assist with content strategy and content planning across multiple brands and platforms.
Help manage social media calendars and campaign execution.
Support brand messaging and ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
Write engaging captions and social copy that resonate with target audiences.
Write website copy, blog articles, newsletters, and other marketing content as needed.
Assist in conceptualizing social campaigns, storytelling angles, and content themes.
Create engaging written content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Work alongside designers or creators to ensure content is visually and culturally aligned.
Schedule and publish social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
Monitor engagement and assist with community interactions when needed.
Ensure consistent brand tone and messaging across all social channels.
Track performance of social media posts and campaigns.
Provide insights on engagement trends and content performance.
Assist in optimizing content strategy based on audience behavior and results.
2–4 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies.
Experience creating and managing social media content calendars.
Experience writing website, blog, and newsletter content.
Experience working with digital marketing teams or agencies is a plus.
Strong writing, storytelling, and communication abilities.
Experience writing both short-form and long-form marketing content.
Understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement strategies.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
Experience using scheduling and social media management tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Creative thinker with a strong understanding of online communities.
Ability to communicate authentically and respectfully about culturally sensitive topics.
