About Fasset
Fasset is a regulated stablecoin neobank making stablecoin-powered financial services accessible to everyone. We are rapidly expanding our presence across key emerging and frontier markets.


Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Country Manager to lead Fasset’s operations and growth in Kenya. You will be the face of Fasset in-market, owning partnerships, regulatory relationships, community growth, and user acquisition to establish Fasset as the leading stablecoin neobank in Kenya.


Responsibilities

  • Own Fasset’s P&L, growth targets, and market strategy for Kenya.
  • Build and manage relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.
  • Lead in-market user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives.
  • Represent Fasset with regulators, government bodies, and industry associations in Kenya.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a local team, including community ambassadors and business development staff.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and localisation recommendations to HQ.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a country management or market leadership role, ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Deep network and understanding of Kenya’s financial, technology, or startup ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Swahili or other local languages is strongly preferred.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with crypto, stablecoins, or digital assets.
  • Established relationships with regulators or key industry stakeholders in Kenya.
