  • Act as Scrum Master/Deputy PM to enable timely delivery on DoD projects and coordinate with Prime and development teams
  • Be available to perform SIPR activities as required and ensure compliance with SIPR requirements

Description

Alaska Northstar Resources is hiring! We are seeking a Scrum Master/Deputy PM to take on a role that is yet to be awarded. This is a hybrid remote role, and the selected candidate shall be within commuting/driving distance of an installation that allows routine SIPR access and be available to perform SIPR activities as required. 


The Scrum Master/Deputy PM will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Support Agile execution and delivery cadence, including participation/leadership in Agile ceremonies (release planning, sprint planning, standups, refinement, retrospectives) consistent with Government-approved Agile methodology.
  • Support backlog hygiene and decomposition (epic/feature/story decomposition into developer tasks) and assist the Prime in maintaining delivery momentum and removing impediments.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Candidate must possess an active DOD Secret clearance (or higher) 
  • Candidate must reside within commuting/driving distance of an installation that allows routine SIPR access and be available to perform SIPR activities as required
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years' experience as Scrum Master/Deputy PM on DoD projects
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile ceremonies
  • AWS Cloud One experience is required
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft products to include Office and Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional Organizational and Time Management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
  • Scrum Master certification

Other Essential Functions  

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential (100%). Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.


Work Environment 

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00
