- Develop and establish documentation standards, templates, terminology, and best practices
- Translate technical content between German and English, ensuring linguistic accuracy, technical correctness, and cultural appropriateness
- Manage translation workflows and ensure all language versions are updated on time
- Coordinate external translation vendors with regard to quality, timing, and cost
- Maintain translation memories and terminology databases to ensure consistency in language and style
- Review and refine machine-generated or AI-assisted translations in line with company quality standards
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, especially Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success
- Support the organization and maintenance of content in content management systems or repositories
- Create supporting visual materials such as diagrams, screenshots, or flowcharts where useful to improve clarity and usability
Your Profile
- Degree in Technical Writing, Translation, Communications, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in technical writing within a technology, IT, or software environment
- Proven experience in creating high-quality technical documentation, especially in a B2B or services-related context
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both languages
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics and communicate them clearly
- Experience with documentation tools and style guides, such as Microsoft Word and SharePoint
- High attention to detail, strong quality awareness, and excellent organizational skills
- A self-driven, structured, and collaborative way of working
Nice to Have
- Experience with component content management systems (CCMS)
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or French
