Experienced SAP ABAP and ABAP on HANA Consultant with 6–8 years of expertise in development and production support. Strong knowledge in handling P1/P2 incidents, performance optimization on SAP HANA, OData services, CDS Views, AMDP, Reports, Interfaces, Forms( Smart forms, Adobe), Enhancements, Workflows and modern ABAP syntax (7.4/7.5). Skilled in troubleshooting critical production issues, enhancing SAP applications, and supporting integrations across SAP landscapes
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
- Handle P1 and P2 priority tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with functional teams, BASIS, and business users to resolve incidents.
ABAP Development & Troubleshooting
- Debug and resolve issues in existing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Provide fixes and enhancements for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Perform code corrections and transport management across environments.
- Ensure solutions meet performance and quality standards.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and support
- Strong debugging skills for production issue resolution
- Experience in handling P1 and P2 incident tickets
- Hands-on experience with:
- ALV Reports
- Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
- BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs
- BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP
- Experience with SAP HANA and CDS Views
