Role Description:
A remote Paralegal / Legal Assistant will support attorneys and legal teams with administrative and
substantive legal tasks to ensure efficient case management, regulatory compliance, and organized
legal operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable
handling confidential and time-sensitive legal matters in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and format legal documents including contracts, agreements, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
  • Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources, summarizing findings and preparing reports for attorney review.
  • Organize and maintain digital case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, updated, and properly categorized.
  • Monitor legal deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure timely submissions.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts, government agencies, or regulatory entities in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and external stakeholders regarding case status and documentation requests.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, case summaries, and supporting materials.
  • Review contracts and legal documents for completeness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal, client, and company information.
  • Support attorneys with administrative coordination, scheduling, and case tracking as needed.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment

Technical Requirements
  • Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs.
  • RAM: 16 GB minimum.
  • Internet: Stable connection of 25-50 Mbps minimum.
