This role focuses on the precise and efficient entry of data related to SKUs and purchase
orders, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and maintained in the system.
· Blackout Period for annual leave in peak periods. This will be discussed at the time of the interview.
· Office Attire: Smart casual.
· Monday to Friday. Occasional out of hours when required.
· Travel required interstate/overseas as required.
The main responsibilities of a DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST include:
• Enter SKU information: Accurately input product group numbers, sub-group
numbers, product types, supplier details, product names, descriptions, and other
relevant data into the system.
• Create purchase orders: Generate new purchase order numbers, select
appropriate warehouses, enter supplier numbers, FOB dates, delivery details, and
order quantities.
• Maintain data accuracy: Ensure all entered data is correct and matches the
provided assortment plans and procurement details.
• Update inventory systems: Regularly update the inventory management system
with new SKUs and purchase orders.
• Generate and save documents: Print and save hard copies and PDF copies of
purchase orders, ensuring they are correctly filed in the designated folders.
• Assist with reporting: Provide data entry support for generating procurement and
inventory reports.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
• 2+ years experience as a Data Entry Specialist in procurement, purchasing or order
management practice.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data entry software and tools.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement and inventory processes.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
