ABOUT THE FRED HOLLOWS FOUNDATION

The Foundation is an international development organisation working to prevent blindness and restore sight.  We continue to carry on the legacy of Professor Fred Hollows, who believed every person had the right to quality eye care, no matter where they live. The Foundation has grown to work in more than 25 countries throughout Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific, as well as Australia. The Foundation has restored sight to more than 3 million people worldwide. We have an ambitious five-year strategic plan that aims to take us even closer to realising our vision of a world in which no person is needlessly blind or vision impaired and Indigenous Australians exercise their right to sight and good health.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Step into a pivotal role, that aims to shape and deliver a high-impact corporate partnerships strategy that drives sustainable growth and long-term value creation. With a strategic growth mindset and strong relational expertise, the role oversees the development, expansion and optimisation of a diverse corporate partnership's portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities while unlocking new commercial and impact opportunities. Accountable for end-to-end portfolio leadership, the role leads business development, renewal negotiations, pipeline and forecast management, and cross-functional campaign integration. By building trusted, mutually beneficial relationships and identifying innovative engagement models, this position strengthens shared-value partnerships that deliver measurable impact across markets and geographies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Execute Corporate Partnerships Strategy: Lead the design and delivery of a high-impact corporate partnerships strategy aligned to organisational growth priorities, ensuring a clear roadmap for acquisition, expansion and retention.
  • Drive Strategic Business Development: Identify, pursue and secure new high-value partnership opportunities, introducing innovative engagement and go-to-market models that generate incremental revenue and impact.
  • Lead Portfolio Performance and Optimisation: Provide end-to-end ownership of the existing partnerships portfolio, proactively identifying growth, renewal and value-creation opportunities to maximise long-term impact.
  • Negotiate and Secure Partnership Growth & Renewals: Lead contract renewals, expansion negotiations and proposal development, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and strong long-term commitments.
  • Manage Pipeline, Forecasting and Revenue Performance: Build and maintain a robust partnerships pipeline, contributing to revenue forecasting, performance reporting and strategic planning cycles.
  • Strengthen Global Capability and Best Practice: Capture partnership insights, performance learnings and innovative models, sharing best practice across global teams to enhance capability, consistency and impact.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Proven experience in corporate partnerships, account management or strategic relationship management, with a track record of growing and retaining long-term, high-value partnerships alliances.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to craft compelling shared-value propositions that align partner objectives with organisational impact.
  • Ability to lead structured project plans, manage timelines and deliver multi-stream campaigns to agreed outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills: confident in presenting, negotiating, influencing and developing high-quality written proposals.
  • Strong relationship intelligence: able to build trust quickly, read stakeholder dynamics and influence effectively at all levels.
  • High levels of initiative, ownership and resourcefulness, with the ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance engagement, performance and long-term partnership value.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecasting and reporting
