Job description

Title: Selling, General, and Administrative Financial Planning & Accounting Consultant
Location : Chicago, IL
Target Start Date : March (ASAP)
Type: (C, CTH, D) Contract
Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK) : $70-78/hour

Job Description :
Looking for a contractor focused on FP&A, SG&A, and model building to support the build‐out of Zero‐Based Budgeting (ZBB) for SG&A and enhance our EPM planning and reporting capabilities . This role partners closely with FP&A team to develop detailed cost-center budget models, create scalable ZBB tools, and improve forecasting and reporting routines.

Required Skills :

Build ZBB models, templates, and cost-driver frameworks for SG&A.
Support reporting enhancements in our EPM platform.
Develop cost‐center reporting, dashboards, and monthly SG&A analysis.
Support forecast cycles and improve planning processes.

Ideal Background:

5+ years FP&A experience with strong SG&A or cost‐center exposure.
Hands-on experience with an EPM tool (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
Advanced Excel + strong financial modeling.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and work cross‐functionally.
Excellent communication; comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
