Application Analyst - Infor Lawson (IPA)

Superlanet is seeking an Application Analyst with hands-on experience in Infor Lawson and IPA Development to support our Southern California healthcare client. This individual will focus on supporting and enhancing application workflows, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and assisting with modernization efforts from legacy systems. This is a remote, 6 month contract. 

This is an execution-focused role ideal for someone with strong Lawson functional and technical knowledge, particularly within HR, Supply Chain, and Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Infor Lawson applications, with a focus on IPA development
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate into system solutions and workflow enhancements
  
• Review and interpret existing COBOL programs, understanding current functionality
  
• Update and enhance COBOL scripts to support new workflow steps and business needs
  
• Assist in translating COBOL logic into IPA workflows
  
• Partner with business stakeholders to support HR, AP, and Supply Chain processes
  
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend process improvements
  
• Document system configurations, workflows, and enhancements
  
• Collaborate with senior team members on larger initiatives and system improvements
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in application support or development
  
• Experience with Infor Lawson IPA Development
  
• Functional knowledge of:
  • Human Resources (HR) (strong emphasis)
    
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
    
  • Supply Chain
    
• Understanding of HR business processes, including employee record transactions within Lawson
  
• Familiarity with Lawson data structures (fields, tables, and screens supporting HR transactions)
  
• Experience working with or supporting COBOL-based applications
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment
  
• Exposure to system upgrades or legacy system modernization efforts
  
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
