Overview :

Job Description – Pre-Sales Salesforce

 

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Pre-Sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in the Insurance domain to support solutioning, client engagements, and business development initiatives. The role involves working closely with sales, delivery, and client stakeholders to design compelling Salesforce-based solutions, particularly across Insurance processes such as policy lifecycle, claims, distribution, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce platform knowledge with industry expertise and strong consultative skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

·       Partner with sales teams to support Salesforce opportunity pursuits in the Insurance domain.

·       Lead solution discovery discussions to understand client business challenges and transformation goals.

·       Define end-to-end Salesforce solution architectures leveraging Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and AI capabilities.

·       Prepare solution proposals, effort estimates, and high-level architecture diagrams.

·       Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with solution approaches, differentiators, and value propositions.

Insurance Domain Expertise

·       Provide domain-driven solutioning across Insurance processes such as:

·       Agency onboarding and distribution management

·       Quote-to-bind and policy lifecycle management

·       Claims and FNOL processes

·       Broker and agent portals

·       Recommend industry best practices and Salesforce Industry Cloud capabilities.

Client Engagement & Presentations

·       Conduct client workshops, solution demos, and executive presentations.

·       Create compelling storytelling around digital transformation using Salesforce and AI.

·       Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.

Assets & Go-to-Market Support

·       Develop reusable solution accelerators, demo environments, and industry-specific use cases.

·       Create sales collaterals including capability decks, solution brochures, case studies, and POV documents.

·       Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, thought leadership content, and industry events.

Technology & Innovation

·       Stay current with Salesforce innovations including AI (Agentforce, Einstein, GenAI), Data Cloud, and Industry Clouds.

·       Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to differentiate solutions.

·       Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       8–15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce solutioning or pre-sales roles.

·       Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, FSC/Insurance Cloud preferred).

·       Experience in Insurance domain (Life, P&C, Brokers, MGA, or Carriers).

·       Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and Salesforce architecture.

·       Experience in solution estimation and proposal development.

·       Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, FSC, AI certifications).

·       Experience with OmniStudio, Data Cloud, or AI solutions.

·       Experience supporting large digital transformation deals.

·       Exposure to consulting or SI environments.
