Role Overview
You’ll work closely with a Senior Accountant, supporting fund accounting activities while building real expertise in hedge fund operations.

Key Responsibilities
Review and reconcile financial data across reports and bank statements
Spot inconsistencies and investigate discrepancies
Support preparation of U.S. K1 financial statements
Assist with audit documentation and compliance tasks
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
Prioritize tasks independently in a dynamic, changing environment
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
Strong general accounting skills, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
Experience in audit assistance and documentation.
Ability to prepare U.S. K-1 financial statements (full 14-page version).
Comfortable navigating spreadsheets, email systems, and in-house databases (e.g., Microsoft Access).
Knowledge of hedge fund or investment fund accounting principles.
Able to review and reconcile client balance sheets, internal reports, and bank statements.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Familiarity with AI tools for research or accounting verification.
Experience with Excel formulas for financial modeling and reporting.
Exposure to networked filing systems (H drive, P drive, etc.) for document management.
Experience working under a senior or head accountant.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of performance fee allocations and investor allocation processes.
Knowledge of NAV calculations, high-water marks, and other hedge fund industry practices.
Prior experience in investment fund accounting or hedge fund operations.
