About the role

At Kerry, we partner with the world’s leading foodservice and retail brands to create products that delight consumers and deliver real value. As a National Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role supporting one global, multi‑brand quick‑service restaurant (QSR) customer, operating within a highly complex, fast‑paced environment., managing a complex, high‑visibility portfolio with significant business across Southern California and Texas. In this role, you’ll build senior‑level relationships, drive strategic growth, and collaborate closely with customers to innovate using Kerry’s portfolio of taste and nutrition solutions. Only candidates based in Southern California or Texas will be considered. This is a remote role within the designated region and requires 50%+ travel.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Lead and direct all sales efforts as National Account Manager for one global, multi‑brand quick‑service restaurant (QSR) customer, operating within a highly complex, fast‑paced environment.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of brands and concepts, each with distinct menus, operational models, and decision‑making structures across multiple U.S. geographies.
  • Defend and expand the existing and new customized and branded business by increasing penetration and menu adoption across multiple brands within the customer’s portfolio.
  • Build and manage senior‑level relationships across brand teams, innovation, operations, supply chain, and procurement within the customer organization.
  • Develop customer strategies that align enterprise objectives with brand‑specific goals, priorities, and culture to drive profitable growth.
  • Establish and execute integrated account plans to achieve annual sales, growth, and margin objectives within a complex QSR operating model.
  • Manage customer agreements and ensure delivery against annual operating plans, budgets, and performance commitments.
  • Orchestrate all customer opportunities and activities across brands and concepts, leveraging cross‑functional Kerry resources to win, launch, and scale.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the use of Kerry’s full portfolio of technologies and solutions across the customer’s brand ecosystem.
  • Own pricing strategy development and execution to balance competitiveness, growth, and margin performance.
  • Manage customer investment and spend to ensure results are achieved within approved levels.
  • Analyze business, menu, and market trends to inform growth strategies and actively manage a robust opportunity pipeline across all brands.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and achievement of annual budgets and financial targets.

 

Qualifications and skills

  • 5+ years’ experience successfully managing Top 100 Chain Customers including Global Foodservice Chains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Food Science with emphasis in Business or Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent is required.
  • Strong verbal and written skills. Exhibits enthusiasm, self-motivation, and strong initiative, with ability to be a team player.
  • Concise and timely communications both internally and externally.
  • Strong presentation skills. Effectively promote Kerry within the foodservice community.
  • 50% travel to customer and Kerry locations.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.

The pay range for this position is $129,000- $239,500.  Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location.  In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on 4/18/2026.
